Local Food Tour RSVP Form
The Local Food Tours are opportunities to discover local businesses who can provide you with new options for feeding guests at your next meeting or event on campus. All participants will enjoy free lunch made up of food samples from at least three locally owned businesses surrounding campus.
Three tours are available this year. All three tours will begin at 12 p.m. in the dining area of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library and will depart promptly at 12:05 p.m. The dates and participating restaurants for each tour are listed below:
(3/14/18) Hollins Market Tour: Primo Chicken, Zella's Pizza, and Culinary Architecture
(3/21/18) Lexington Market Tour: Faidley's, Connie's Chicken & Waffles, and Memsahib
(3/22/18) Pigtown Main Street: Sunny's Chinese, Cafe Jovial, and Breaking Bread
Most of the vendors also have dine-in or carryout options, so you'll get to discover new places within walking distance of campus to visit during your lunch break. Are you excited to attend a FREE local food tour sponsored by the Office of Community Engagement? Sign up for one or more of the tours below!
